An injection-molded plastic kit of the British battleship HMS Agincourt in 1:700 scale from Flyhawk. The model is conceived as a waterline one and is completed by etched parts and turned metal barrels. It is a precisely made package. The model is assembled and painted.
HMS Agincourt was an unusual battleship famous for the exceptionally large number of main-caliber gun turrets spread along the length of the hull. She was originally built for a foreign customer, but at the beginning of the First World War the Royal Navy took her over. She also took part in the great naval Battle of Jutland. The silhouette with its row of turrets makes her one of the most distinctive hulls of her time.
In 1:700 scale, work with a sharp knife and tweezers and bond the etched parts (railings, small structures) with super glue (cyanoacrylate). The waterline hull can be set on a stand or into the water surface of a diorama. A primer, an airbrush coat and a light highlighting of the deck with a wash are recommended.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
