Tamiya Japanese Destroyer Harusame (1:700) is a plastic kit of a Japanese destroyer from the Waterline series for collectors of warships.
Responsibility details are not available.
This injection-molded plastic kit from Tamiya captures the Japanese destroyer Harusame in 1:700 scale in the popular Waterline concept, that is with the hull cut at the waterline for placing on a sea base. The model offers finely detailed superstructures, armament and decals. The small scale is ideal for a collection of warships as well as for a display diorama.
The Harusame was a Japanese destroyer of the Second World War, belonging among the lighter and fast escort and attack units of the Imperial Japanese Navy. Destroyers of this type escorted larger formations, protected them against submarines and aircraft and carried both torpedo and gun armament. They were deployed on a number of battlefields in the Pacific.
Glue the hull cut at the waterline onto a stand or a sea base. Use thin cement for plastic and set the small parts in place with tweezers. We recommend a primer, the main coat with an airbrush and gentle picking out of the details with a wash. The waterline and the decks can be completed with decals and, if you wish, with photo-etched railings from the aftermarket.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
