A decal sheet in 1:700 scale with subjects of the navy of the People's Liberation Army of China, an accessory for a ship model.
Responsibility details are not available.
Ship models in 1:700 scale are small and the markings cannot be reliably painted on them: hull numbers, deck markings and lettering have thin strokes that a brush will not hold at this size. That is exactly why they are transferred with a decal. The sheet is intended for models of vessels of the navy of the People's Liberation Army of China.
A decal sheet in 1:700 scale. Which particular subjects it carries and which model it is intended for is given in the manufacturer's instructions; check that before buying, because the dimensions and the position of the markings differ from vessel to vessel.
Before you wet the sheet, check in the instructions whether it is not a self-adhesive version: a wetted self-adhesive film is ruined, whereas an unwetted water-slide decal can still be soaked later. With an ordinary water-slide sheet proceed as follows. Cut the subject out together with a margin of the backing paper, dip it in lukewarm water for a few seconds and let it rest until it can be slid along the backing. The area on the model should be smooth, clean and ideally coated with gloss varnish, otherwise a white haze will stay under the decal. Slide the decal into place, settle it with a brush and blot off the excess water with a soft cloth. Once dry, the area is given a coat of matte or satin varnish so that the edge of the film disappears.
The sheet suits a modeler who builds modern warships in 1:700 scale and wants the markings sharp. The model, paints and varnishes are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
