A plastic kit model of the American battleship USS Missouri (BB-63) in 1:700 scale from the manufacturer Meng. The package holds injection-molded plastic parts, decals and instructions for assembling one model. The kit captures the characteristic silhouette of a battleship of the Iowa class with three turrets of main guns of 406 mm caliber.
The USS Missouri was the last battleship put into service by the US Navy during the Second World War. The ship of the Iowa class took part in the fighting at Iwo Jima and Okinawa and became famous above all for the fact that the Japanese surrender was signed on its deck in September 1945. It was marked out by a high speed and the strong armament of nine main guns.
We recommend working with a thin glue for plastic and trying the fit of the hull before gluing. The model can be built with the full hull, or it can be adjusted into the rendering along the waterline. Paint the deck and the superstructures in the matching naval shades and bring the panel lines and the details out with a gentle wash. A separate stand suits the display.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
