The 100 mm wz. 14/19 howitzer, early version (1:72, First to Fight) is a plastic kit of the 100 mm field howitzer.
Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the 100 mm wz. 14/19 field howitzer in its early form, in 1:72 scale from the Polish manufacturer First to Fight. The model depicts the artillery piece with its characteristic carriage and wooden wheels. The parts are designed as snap-fit and the package usually comes with an illustrated leaflet.
The wz. 14/19 howitzer was based on an Austro-Hungarian Skoda design, and in interwar Poland it was built and modernized as the standard light field howitzer. The early version had wooden wheels with steel tires for horse draft. The weapon was committed during the campaign of 1939 and, in altered versions, was used by other armies as well.
Separate and clean up the small parts carefully. Even with a snap-fit kit we recommend securing the joints with plastic cement. The wooden wheels come out once painted in wood shades and lightly glazed. Overall, an olive green or gray-green shade of period equipment suits it; a wash and dry-brushing complete the weathering.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
