The set holds two fuel drop tanks of 1200 liters in the form used on French Jaguars. The parts are 3D printed from modeling resin and offer fine, crisp surface detail. It is not an airplane kit but an accessory, an upgrade set, that is fitted to a finished Jaguar model in 1:72 scale.

How it differs from the British version

Reskit makes the French and the British tanks as two separate sets; they are not interchangeable. The difference lies in the detail of the tank body and above all in the treatment of the rear stabilizing fins, by which the French tanks differ visually from those used by the RAF. If you are building a French Jaguar, reach for this set; for a British machine Reskit offers the RAF version.

Working with the resin parts

• Wash the parts first in lukewarm soapy water and rid them of print resin residue.
• Cut the print supports off with a saw or a sharp knife.
• Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) or epoxy; cement for plastic does not work here.
• Sand wet and with respiratory protection; resin dust is harmful to health.
• Use a primer before painting so that the paint holds on the smooth resin.
