A resin set of replacement wheels for models of the early versions of the Douglas A-4 Skyhawk carrier attack aircraft in 1:72 scale. The wheels replace the plastic parts from the base kit and bring finer tread relief and more accurate hubs. The set is the work of the manufacturer Reskit.
The early Skyhawk versions had different wheels from the later variants, so it is best to use the set matching the particular subversion. The resin castings have crisper detail, which improves the look of the landing gear once painted. The wheels are fitted in place of the parts from the box.
Wash the parts in lukewarm water with detergent because of the mold release agent. Separate the wheels from the casting blocks and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Wear respiratory protection while sanding.
This is a detail accessory, not a complete kit. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
