The model carries decals for American machines and suits an accessible project for a collection of modern helicopters.
The AH-64 Apache is an American two-seat attack helicopter designed to destroy armored vehicles and to give direct fire support. The AH-64A version was the first production variant. It is armed with a turreted cannon under the nose, unguided rockets and anti-tank guided missiles. It became known for its tough structure and for use in a number of conflicts.
Pay attention to the seating of the cockpit, the main and tail rotors and the underwing armament. A primer and an airbrush are recommended, and the paints included will serve for the base coat. A dark green to olive shade is typical; gentle accenting of the panels and light weathering bring out the intricate surface of the fuselage.
Besides the kit, the Model Set holds basic paints, a brush and glue. For finishing it, further tools and paints may be useful.
