Responsibility details are not available.
The range of the Ukrainian maker MARS Model takes in this set of foot shot as well, the men who made up the firepower of the regiments of the first half of the 17th century. The figures are caught loading, aiming and firing, so they will make up a convincing firing line. The plastic castings come in the base color of the material.
The Thirty Years War ran from 1618 to 1648 and laid waste to a large part of central Europe. Regiments in it were made up of two elements that protected each other: pikemen with long pikes against cavalry, and shot with the matchlock, who broke up enemy formations at a distance. Compared with the musket the arquebus was lighter and handier, needed no forked rest and suited broken country as well as escorting horse. Loading, however, took a long time, so the shot fired in ranks and took turns between volleys.
The thin barrels and matchlocks are fragile, so part them carefully and rather one piece at a time. The period had no uniforms, so you can allow yourself colorful coats, leather jerkins and sashes of various colors to mark the side of the conflict. Unify the leather and straps with a brown wash and leave the metal of the barrel dark with a hint of sheen.
The set comes unglued and unpainted. Glue and paints are not included, unless stated otherwise.
