A resin set of replacement wheels of the late type for a plastic kit of the British BAC/English Electric Lightning supersonic interceptor in 1:72 scale from Reskit. It is not a model of the aircraft but a detail accessory replacing the wheels from the original kit. The set is made for Lightning kits in this scale. The cast wheels capture the tire tread and the hub detail faithfully and tend to be rendered weighted, that is with a realistically flattened contact patch, as if the machine were standing on a runway.
Wash the resin parts to remove any mold release agent, cut the casting blocks off carefully and clean them up with breathing protection. Bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Spray the tires a dark gray, set the hubs apart in color and finish the whole thing with a gentle wash.
This is not a model but a replacement accessory. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
