Responsibility details are not available.
A kit of the British twin-engine high-wing Bristol Bombay in 1:72 scale from a Czech manufacturer. Besides injection-molded plastic the package also holds resin and photo-etched parts and clear cabin parts with decals. The combination of materials raises the level of detail, but it also puts higher demands on the build.
The Bristol Bombay was a British twin-engine aircraft serving at once as a transport machine and a bomber. It entered service at the end of the 1930s and was used above all in the Middle Eastern and North African theaters during the Second World War. A structure with fixed landing gear and a roomy cargo cabin was typical of the transport and utility aircraft of the day.
Before gluing, wash the resin parts clean of the remains of the mold release agent and cut the casting blocks off; glue them with cyanoacrylate glue. Bend the photo-etched parts over a sharp edge. Glue the plastic joints with a thin cement for plastic. On a model with large surfaces an airbrush and proper planning of the camouflage pay off; use gloss clear coat before the decals.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
