Responsibility details are not available.
A set in 1:72 scale from MARS Model. The box holds four guns and twenty-four crew figures in six poses. For the guns you can choose between two types of barrel, so the battery does not look monotonous. The parts come unpainted and have to be assembled. The subject is the artillery of the second half of the fifteenth century.
The Burgundian army of Charles the Bold passed for the most modern in the Europe of its day, and artillery had a firm place in it. The weapons of this period already stood on wheeled carriages, which made movement and aiming easier, and in a field battle they were used to break up the enemy formation before an attack. Even so the Burgundian army suffered defeats at the hands of the Swiss foot formations, which could close on the gunners quickly and bring them to close quarters.
Line the parts up dry and decide in advance which type of barrel you will fit to which gun. Handle the wooden carriage with an ocher base and a glaze along the grain, and darken the ironwork. Burgundian dress will take bright colors, so give the crew striking tunics. Add a heap of shot and a powder chest to the base, and the scene gains its scale.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
