Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the American supersonic aircraft McDonnell F-101A Voodoo in 1:72 scale from the Czech maker Valom. The parts are molded in gray plastic with clear canopy parts; the set usually rounds the plastic out with small resin and photo-etched parts and offers decals for several marking options. Check the exact contents in the instructions included.
The F-101A Voodoo was an American single-seat supersonic machine powered by a pair of jet engines. It served as a fighter bomber of the tactical air arm and was able to carry armament for strike tasks as well. It was marked out by a long fuselage, a high-set tail and high speeds; reconnaissance and interceptor variants later grew out of the Voodoo design.
Glue the plastic parts with liquid modeling cement for plastic, the resin and the photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate glue. Apply a primer before painting; an airbrush handles the metal surfaces well. With natural metal a glossy base and shades of the metallic paint type pay off; use a gloss varnish under the decals and unify the joints with a matte varnish. Finish the cockpit and the landing gear bays before closing up the fuselage.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
