Brengun 1:72 Ki-44 Shoki (Tojo) is a photo-etched detail set for models of the Japanese fighter; it is not a model but a set of accessories in 1:72 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
A photo-etched set from the Czech maker Brengun intended for models of the Japanese Nakajima Ki-44 Shoki fighter, which the Allies gave the code name Tojo. It is not an airplane kit but a set of fine metal parts that lifts the detail of a plastic model in 1:72 scale.
The Ki-44 Shoki was a single-seat fighter of the Imperial Japanese Army Air Force of the Second World War period. Unlike the agile Ki-43 it was designed with the emphasis on rate of climb and speed, as an interceptor; among other tasks it was committed to the defense against Allied bombers.
Photo-etched parts for refining the cockpit interior and the external details that plastic molds cannot capture accurately. Typically these are elements of the instrument panel, the side panels, the seat belts and small external components.
Separate the parts with a sharp knife on a mat, make the bends in a metal bender and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Paint the interior parts before gluing them into the fuselage and bring them out with a wash so that the instruments and the fine structure stand out.
This is an accessory set, not a model in its own right. The base kit, the glue and the paints are not included in the package.
