A resin, 3D-printed detail set from Reskit in 1:72 scale. The package contains four French Matra MICA air-to-air guided missiles in the version with an infrared seeker (IR). It is not an aircraft kit but an addition to the underwing armament, with a faithful shape of the body, the fins and the seeker.
The MICA is a modern French multi-purpose air-to-air guided missile of short to medium range. The IR version uses passive infrared guidance and is meant for combat at shorter distances; one missile body thus exists with two variants of the seeker. The missile is carried above all by the Mirage 2000 and the Rafale.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut the casting blocks and print supports away and sand them smooth using respiratory protection. Bond with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Apply a primer, paint with an airbrush and pick the fine detail out with a wash.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
