A detailed resin set of replacement wheels for models of the Messerschmitt Me-262 in 1:72 scale, the Type 1 form. It is a landing gear accessory, not an airplane kit. The wheels are weighted, with a realistic bulge to the tire. The maker is the Ukrainian brand Reskit.
The Me-262 Schwalbe was the first jet fighter in the world to enter series service, with a pair of engines under the wing and a nose landing gear. Even in the small 1:72 scale, faithfully cast wheels add quality to a model, because they replace the often simplified plastic parts.
Wash the parts free of mold release agent, cut the small casting blocks off carefully and sand the surfaces with respiratory protection. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Prime the wheels before painting and set the flattened contact area perpendicular to the ground.
This is an accessory, not a complete model. It is supplied unpainted and unassembled; paints and glue are not included in the package.
