The MiG-29 in the 9-12 version is the basic production version of the Soviet twin-engine fourth-generation fighter. You will know it by its widely spaced engine nacelles, two vertical tails and massive wing leading-edge root extensions that blend smoothly into the fuselage. The cockpit sits high and is well glazed, so the interior stays visible on the finished model and decides the overall impression.
The elements of the SPACE range are colored and carried on a paper backing. They are not dipped in water: only the carrier paper is dampened, best with a damp sponge and a drop of detergent. The element is then lifted off with tweezers and fixed to the kit part with white PVA glue; the manufacturer does not recommend super glue. A decal softener does not belong with these elements, so do not confuse them with ordinary wet decals. The printing carries the shades and the small placards, so painting individual areas with a brush falls away and the work is done in a moment.
The set suits modelers who want a well-worked interior without hours spent on fine painting, and in 1:72 scale it manages detail a brush cannot reach. The scope of the set and the kit it is drawn for are given in the manufacturer's instructions, so check that it matches your own model beforehand. The kit, paints and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
