An injection-molded plastic kit of the Russian attack helicopter Mil Mi-28N in 1:72 scale from Zvezda. The model captures the characteristic two-seat cockpit, the weapons pylons and the gun under the nose. Waterslide decals go with the kit.
The Mil Mi-28 (NATO designation Havoc) is a Russian two-seat attack helicopter specialized in destroying armored vehicles and supporting ground forces. The Mi-28N version is adapted for combat by day as well as by night and in poor weather; it carries targeting and surveillance systems for night fighting. Its standard armament is a movable cannon under the nose and anti-tank guided missiles as well as unguided rockets on the wing pylons.
Finish and paint the cockpit before closing up the fuselage. Glue the rotor blades and the landing gear with liquid cement for plastic. Russian camouflage with its soft transitions comes out well under an airbrush; the final weathering consists of light emphasis on the panels and dust traces on the landing gear and the underside of the fuselage.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
