A figure set of the driver and technicians operating the MJ-1C munitions loader in 1:72 scale from Reskit, a composition labeled scene 1.
Responsibility details are not available.
This resin set captures three ground crew around the low munitions loader known in the US Air Force by the nickname Jammer. The name specifies the modern MJ-1C version and labels the composition as scene 1, the first of two differently arranged groups. In 1:72 scale the set fills the space under the wing of a finished model.
A munitions loader of this class is a small self-propelled vehicle with a lifting platform that brings bombs and rockets to the aircraft pylons and positions them precisely underneath. The crew splits into a driver at the controls and technicians who guide the load by hand and steady it during loading. The work happens in a tight space and its dynamics are typical of airfield scenes.
Ground crew working clothes tend to be a single flat color, so the scene stands or falls on how you handle the shadows. A dark wash into the folds and a dry brush two tones lighter on the edges both work well. Paint the protective gear, that is the ear protectors, the gloves and the reflective elements, in contrast: they give the scene legibility even from a distance.
The set contains figures. Neither the loader model nor the aircraft is included.
