Responsibility details are not available.
Photo-etched parts in 1:72 scale meant for the kit of the Mosquito NF Mk.XXX from Special Hobby. The set does not replace the kit; it completes it with metal parts where plastic in a small scale cannot be thin enough. It is precisely in 1:72 that the difference between a thick plastic part and thin sheet metal shows most.
The Mosquito was a British twin-engine aircraft famous for its wooden construction and its speed, thanks to which it could simply outrun its opponent for a long time. The versions designated NF served as night fighters; the Mk.XXX, that is thirty in Roman numerals, is one of the late night versions.
Cut the parts off the fret with sharp scissors or a blade on a hard surface; do not break them out. Make the bends in a bending tool or between two blades so that the edge is straight. They are bonded with super glue or epoxy; cement for plastic models has no effect on metal. Degrease the surface and apply a base coat before painting. Where the individual parts go is given in the manufacturer's instructions.
The set is for modelers who already have experience and do not mind working with tweezers over small parts. A small scale forgives fewer mistakes, but the finished model takes up only a little room in a display case. Unless stated otherwise, the kit, paints and glue are not included in the package.
