A small waterline model (the hull down to the waterline) of a little Polish liaison cutter in 1:72 scale from the Polish maker First to Fight. The set is conceived as an easy kit and usually comes with a historical booklet about the real subject. The parts are printed in resin.
The KM-12 (kuter meldunkowy, meaning reporting cutter) was a small auxiliary boat of the Polish Navy from the end of the interwar period and the beginning of the Second World War. It served on liaison and courier duty, carrying orders, reports and people between bases, command posts and vessels along the coast. It was a simple, reliable and handy craft, not a combat ship.
Separate the parts from their carriers carefully, sand the mating surfaces and bond them with super glue. Before gluing, wash the printed parts to remove any uncured print resin residue. A small waterline model looks good on a simple water surface or in a small harbor diorama scene.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
