A set of street lamps in 1:72 scale from the Czech manufacturer Firma49. The parts are made in resin by high-resolution 3D printing (SLA). This is a diorama accessory meant for the smaller scale, not a model in its own right.
A street lamp is a typical element of a city scene. In 1:72 scale it helps to define a street, to add a vertical accent and to set the scale of the surrounding vehicles and figures. In a damaged state it heightens the atmosphere of a war-torn street.
Wash the print resin residue off the resin parts. Remove the print supports carefully, as the slender posts in this scale call for extra attention, and clean up the surfaces with respiratory protection. They are glued with cyanoacrylate glue. A cast-iron finish is captured with a dark base with wear and rust, and the glass of the lantern can be suggested with a sheen.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The glue and the paints are not included in the package.
