An injection-molded plastic kit of the AV-8A Harrier V/STOL attack aircraft in US Marine Corps markings, in 1:72 scale from the Japanese maker Hasegawa. The package holds plastic sprues, clear cockpit parts and a decal sheet.
The Harrier was the first production combat aircraft capable of vertical and short takeoff and landing, thanks to thrust vectoring. The AV-8A version was created for the US Marine Corps on the basis of the British Harrier and served for close air support of ground units. Its ability to operate from short strips and from the decks of smaller ships made it an icon of modern attack aviation.
Assemble and paint the cockpit before you close up the fuselage. Mask the canopy and spray the frame. A primer is advisable, along with thin coats of paint from an airbrush and accentuated panel lines. Apply the decals over a gloss coat. Watch the correct seating of the vectoring nozzles.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
