This set is a detail accessory, not a stand-alone model. It contains a pair of 3D printed resin adapters (pylons) in 1:72 scale that allow Western precision-guided munitions to be hung on a model of the Su-27 fighter - the small-diameter GBU-39 SDB bomb and the GBU-62 (JDAM-ER) bomb.
The Su-27 (NATO code Flanker) is a Soviet twin-engine heavy fighter. In recent years Ukrainian machines have been modified to carry Western precision-guided munitions by means of special adapters. The GBU-39 SDB is a small-diameter glide bomb, while the GBU-62 (JDAM-ER) is a bomb with a guidance and wing kit for extended range. The accessory captures the interface between the Soviet pylon and this ordnance.
In 1:72 the parts are small, so proceed carefully. Wash the 3D printed resin parts free of print resin residue, cut the print supports off and clean them up with respiratory protection. Glue with cyanoacrylate. Apply primer and paint with an airbrush according to period photographs.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the basic kit are not included in the package.
