It is not a model - it is a scenic base on which you stand finished aircraft models and so create a striking deck diorama. The motif is printed on a good-quality sheet to be cut out and glued to a board of your own.
The display surface takes the place of laborious deck painting - the realistic texture of the concrete, the non-skid surface, the markings, the tie-downs and the traces of use are all there at once. It serves as a convincing scene under fighters and other carrier aircraft in 1:72 scale.
Cut the sheet out accurately along the lines and glue it to a firm base (plywood, foam board) with a thin layer of adhesive, so that no bubbles form. The edges can be hidden with a frame. A matte clear coat will even the surface out and protect the print from rubbing.
The board itself and the aircraft models are not included in the package. It is a scenic accessory, not a model kit.
