A color display board for a model in 1:72 scale with the motif of the aircraft carrier USS Saratoga (CVA-60) in a second version, which bears the designation Good Morning, Vietnam. The sheet is made of acrylic 3 mm thick, measures 180 x 357 mm and weighs 210 grams, so it will not sag even after a long stand in a display case.
USS Saratoga (CVA-60) was an American Forrestal-class aircraft carrier, that is one of the first generation of large postwar carriers with an angled landing deck. She served with the US Navy for decades, and her deck is a natural setting for models of carrier aircraft.
The board gives a finished model a setting without your building a whole diorama. It comes into its own in a display case, at a club show and when photographing, where the colored background unifies the back of the shot. It is enough to stand the model on it, or to secure it with double-sided tape.
