A resin, 3D-printed detail set from Reskit in 1:72 scale that offers an accurately shaped vertical stabilizer for a model of the two-seat Republic F-105G Thunderchief. The replacement part refines the shape and the detail of the fin compared with the base kit. It is not an airplane model, but an upgrade for a kit.
The F-105G Thunderchief, nicknamed the Thud, was the two-seat version intended for the suppression of enemy air defenses (the Wild Weasel mission) during the Vietnam War. It was derived from the heavy supersonic F-105 fighter-bomber and carried equipment for finding and destroying radars and missile sites.
Wash the print resin residue off the resin parts, cut away the print supports and clean up the surfaces with respiratory protection. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Apply a primer before painting and take care of a precise fit against the fuselage of the model.
This is a detail accessory, not a complete model. The base kit, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
