Responsibility details are not available.
A sheet of waterslide decals in 1:72 scale for a model of the British Vickers Wellington Mk.Ic bomber. It is made by the Polish firm Techmod under part number 72135. The manufacturer states four options: R1593 OJ-N of No. 149 Squadron, X9684 Y of No. 37 Squadron from Shallufa in Egypt in January 1942, the Polish R1228 SM-E of No. 305 Squadron from Syerston in the spring of 1941, and the Czechoslovak R1378 KX-K of No. 311 Squadron of March 1941.
The Wellington was a twin-engine bomber with a geodetic lattice fuselage structure to the design of Barnes Wallis, thanks to which it could take even heavy damage. The Mk.Ic version had Bristol Pegasus engines, turrets in the nose and tail and, in place of the beam turrets, only gun windows. In the first years of the war the Wellington formed the core of the RAF night bomber force, and it also served with the Czechoslovak No. 311 Bomber Squadron, which operated it from England from 1940.
The code letters of the Wellington are large, so lay a careful gloss coat over the area beneath them and apply the decal wet. Dip the design briefly, slide it onto the model, blot off the excess water and settle it with a decal softener. Settle a printed area over the fabric surface of the fuselage in sections, so the decal does not wrinkle. Finally, seal everything with a matte coat.
This is an accessory for a model, not a kit. The basic kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
