A pronounced green in a gloss form from the Acrysion acrylic line for modelers. It is thinned with water.
Responsibility details are not available.
A pure green with no admixture of gray or ocher turns up rarely on finished models of military hardware, but modelers need it all the more often as a component when mixing. With ocher it gives a convincing field green, with white it shifts toward light interiors and with black toward the deep tones of the jungle.
On its own it finds use on engineering equipment, racing cars, toy subjects and everywhere green is meant to be pronounced and glossy. It is applied by spraying and has to be stirred thoroughly before use so that the tone is the same across the whole surface.
Water-thinnable acrylics have the advantage over lacquers that they can be worked with even in a room without strong extraction. The smell is mild and traces of them come off with ordinary water while they are fresh. For dried residue the manufacturer offers a special cleaner.
Green shades tend to be the most numerous in this line, because military hardware uses them up in quantity. That makes it all the easier to buy a tone that in the end does not match what you had in mind. It therefore pays to start from the particular subject and from a photograph, and only then decide whether a clean green is needed or one of the subdued camouflage tones.
