The FA-136AT airbrush from Fine Art is an airbrush for applying paint to models, figures and artwork. Its greatest asset is the set of three interchangeable nozzles of 0.2, 0.3 and 0.5 mm: thanks to them one tool covers the whole range of tasks, from the finest lines and shadows (0.2 mm) through everyday painting (0.3 mm) to fast coverage of large areas (0.5 mm). It is a dual-action airbrush with a paint cup on top, on which the trigger controls the air supply and the amount of paint separately. It is not a model kit but a tool for painting.
After every painting session, flush the airbrush with the thinner appropriate to the type of paint until clean liquid runs through; from time to time take it apart and clean the needle and the nozzle so that they do not clog. The nozzles and the needle are delicate, so handle them with care.
Suitable for beginners and advanced modelers alike who want one airbrush to cover both fine and broad work. Spray in a well-ventilated space or into a spray booth and wear a respirator; paints and thinners are often flammable, so keep them away from open flames.
Paints, thinner and a compressor are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
