Brass pipes 0.8 mm in diameter by AK interactive in a pack of five. A building material for barrels, piping, handholds and reinforcing joints, not a finished accessory for a specific model.
Responsibility details are not available.
The pack contains five brass pipes with an outer diameter of 0.8 mm. It is a building material, not a finished set of parts: you do not get a casting for a specific kit but raw stock that you cut and shape as needed. Brass has two advantages over plastic — it holds a thin wall and a small diameter without bending, and it takes mechanical stress, so it is used for parts that would be fragile in plastic.
Cut the pipe with a saw or a metal cutter, not with side cutters — those squeeze the end into an oval. Take off the burrs after cutting with a fine file and clean out the bore. Degrease the brass before painting and let it dry; on smooth metal with no preparation the paint only sits on the surface and peels off during handling. Then use a primer applied in a genuinely thin coat — on metal, a thinner and lighter layer holds better than one heavy coat that stays on the surface like a skin and fills in the fine edges. Only over the dry primer should you apply the paint in the usual way.
For modelers who go beyond the contents of the box — replacing plastic parts, reinforcing the structure or making their own details. The 0.8 mm diameter is among the most used sizes for small tubular elements.
The material is supplied unworked and unpainted. Protect your eyes and hands when cutting and sanding metal, as the ends of the pipes can be sharp.
