Stir the bottle thoroughly before use. Flesh tones are applied in thin coats, because it is on a face that every thick coat shows immediately: it floods the features and robs a figure of its expression. An even surface is easier to get with an airbrush, while a brush is enough for the small finishing touches. It is thinned with the thinner meant for the Mr.Color range, not with water, and the same thinner is used to clean the brush and the gun straight after the work. Wash and degrease the figure before painting, as the paint holds badly on a greasy surface.
A base flesh tone is the first layer of the face and the hands; depth is then built on it by shading into darker tones and highlighting the raised places. It also suits light pink areas of clothing or accessories. Try the shade on an offcut of plastic and judge it in daylight, because in the bottle it looks different than on a model.
The package holds the paint only. The thinner, the brushes, the airbrushes and a figure are not part of it, unless stated otherwise. Work in a well-ventilated room and store the paint carefully closed and out of the reach of children.
