About product

Lifecolor Aircraft Perfect Metal - metallic paints, set 2

The set contains six bottles of water-thinnable acrylic with a metallic pigment, intended for imitating polished aluminum, steel and darker metal shades as well as exhaust staining. The paints need no black base, so they can be used straight away. The acrylic is low-odor and suits plastic, resin and metal.

Use

  • Stir the metallic paint thoroughly before use - the pigment settles at the bottom.
  • They look best on a smooth, well-prepared surface.
  • They are applied by brush as well as airbrush; thinned with water or Lifecolor thinner.
  • Apply metallic areas rather at the end, as they are harder to overspray and mask.

Who the set is for

It will be appreciated by builders of aircraft with a bare metal finish and by modelers who want to grade the panels in different metal shades.

The paints are water-thinnable and low-odor; even so, work in a ventilated room and protect your skin and eyes.
