Gloss Black 60ml

Vallejo Gloss Black 60 ml

A gloss black primer from the Vallejo Surface Primer range holding 60 ml. The primer is acrylic-polyurethane, water-thinnable and solvent-free. Unlike matte primers it dries to a glossy black surface, which is an ideal base under metallic paints: a smooth glossy black brings out the metal sheen and the depth of a metallic. It also serves as an ordinary black base under dark shades.

Use

• Applied with an airbrush, straight from the bottle or lightly thinned with Vallejo airbrush thinner or Flow Improver.
• It forms a smooth glossy film with excellent adhesion to plastic, resin, photo-etched parts and metal.
• Let it dry through, then apply metallic paints for maximum metal sheen.
• It dries fast and after a few hours it stands up to further work.

Who it is for

For modelers who spray metallic paints and want the highest possible sheen, and for those who need a reliable black base.

It contains no solvents and is not flammable. Even so, work in a ventilated space and shake the bottle well before use.
