A set of sensors and antennas for the MiG-23 in 1:32 scale is a 3D printed accessory from Temp Models. It replaces the coarse external parts from the kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set brings 3D printed sensors, antennas and probes for the MiG-23 in 1:32 scale from Temp Models. It is not a model of an aircraft but the small external parts. The printed rendition can render them at a thickness an injection mold cannot manage, so the finished model looks finer.
The MiG-23 is a single-engine aircraft with a variable-geometry wing, which combined a wide range of speeds with a short take-off. On the airframe it carries air pressure probes, angle-of-attack sensors and the antennas of the communication and navigation systems; on the later versions warning receivers were added to them. It is by the arrangement and the shape of these small things that the individual versions are told apart.
The parts are printed from resin and are held only by thin supports. Cut them off with a sharp scalpel as close to the part as possible, sand the marks down with fine sandpaper and protect your airways while sanding. It is glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Paint holds longer on a smooth print if you lay a thin coat of primer under it. Hold the small parts over a dish while cutting them off so that they do not get lost, and glue them on only after the surrounding area has been painted.
The set is an addition to building a model, not a model in its own right. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted, and glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
