Replacement landing gear wheels in 1:72 scale from the Russian manufacturer Temp Models, which specializes in accessories for models of Soviet and Russian combat aircraft. The manufacturer gives finely detailed nose and braked wheels in the weighted state and a nose gear mudguard of the correct shape. The parts are printed from photopolymer.
The Su-25 is a Soviet subsonic ground-attack aircraft for the direct support of ground troops. The pilot's cockpit is protected by a welded titanium bathtub, it is powered by two R-95Sh jet engines without afterburners, and from the start the aircraft was built to operate from unpaved surfaces. The robust landing gear with low-pressure tires matches that, and on a standing aircraft they are noticeably weighted.
Cut the print supports away with a sharp scalpel and sand the pad they leave, ideally on the side that sits on the ground. Glue the wheels with cyanoacrylate glue, that is with super glue. Lay down a filler primer before painting. On a ground-attack aircraft it is good to add dust pigment to the rims and the sidewalls, because the Su-25 routinely operated from field surfaces. Sanding is best done wet and with respiratory protection.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
