A resin set of landing gear wheels for a Su-34 model in the late rendering, in 1:48 scale, from the Russian brand Temp Models. The manufacturer makes two sets for this type and this one matches the later machines. Printing in resin renders the tread pattern and the shape of the hub without a parting line. It is not a kit but replacement parts for your own model.
The Su-34 is a heavy strike aircraft built on the foundations of the Su-27 family, but with a substantially higher take-off weight: it carries an armored cockpit for two crew members and a large load of armament. The landing gear therefore received a strengthened arrangement and the main legs carry wheels set one behind the other. During production the details of the landing gear changed, so machines from the later batches have different wheels from the early ones.
Cut the supports off with a scalpel and level the mating spots, so that the wheels on a leg stand in one plane. Wash the resin in lukewarm soapy water before painting. Spray the tire a very dark gray and the hub separately, following the real thing. Check whether the machine you are building matches the late rendering, because the early aircraft have different wheels.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The model, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
