Responsibility details are not available.
An assembly model of the luxury sedan Hyundai Grandeur of the seventh generation, from a range that Academy builds on two simplifications: the parts are molded straight in color and they clip into each other without glue. The result is a car model that comes together in one evening and still keeps the shape of the real car. The range is conceived more as a collector's item than as a classic modeling challenge.
The Grandeur is the flagship sedan of the Hyundai marque, and the generation designated GN7 was introduced at the end of 2022. The designers went back to the legacy of the first Grandeur from the 1980s and carried it into the present: a continuous light bar across the whole width of the car joins the front and the rear, the handles are recessed into the doors and the interior is dominated by a single-spoke steering wheel with two linked displays. For the Korean market the car is a symbol of prestige much as the large German limousines are in Europe.
Break the parts out carefully and level off the remains of the sprue gates so that the joints line up. Although painting is not necessary, the result will improve if you clean up the glazing and lightly pick out the panel gaps with a dark wash. A drop of cyanoacrylate glue is handy for securing tight joints; ordinary cement for plastic is usually not needed here.
The car is supplied in parts, but you do not need paints or glue to finish it, unless stated otherwise.
