A modeling paint from the Gunze Mr.Color range, the manufacturer's part number C392. The shade is intended for the interiors of Soviet aircraft, that is for the cockpit and the internal surfaces of the fuselage.
Responsibility details are not available.
Soviet aircraft were not painted inside the same way as Western machines. Instead of greenish tones, the cockpits show a blue-gray shade that looks cool in an enclosed space and, with dark shading, gives depth even to the small elements of the instrument panel. It is for exactly this use that the paint is intended.
The most typical use is the cockpit, the inner faces of the fuselage sides and the surfaces that stay partly visible once the fuselage is closed. The shade can also be reached for on small internal parts that only flash by under the glazing on a finished model. Because it is an interior color, it pays to apply it before you glue the fuselage together, otherwise you will have trouble reaching the corners of the cockpit.
The thinner and the thinning ratio follow the manufacturer's instructions on the packaging; use the thinner intended for this range. Stir the paint thoroughly before applying, as the pigment settles to the bottom. Spray into the cockpit in several light coats so that the fine relief of the parts is kept, or use a brush on small areas. Once dry, dark shading into the recesses and a light lift on the edges with a dry brush suit it, and that brings the inside of the model to life. Wash and degrease the base beforehand and work in a well-ventilated area.
The package contains the paint itself. Thinner, cleaner, brushes and spraying equipment are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
