A gray shade named after the radar covers of Japan Air Self-Defense Force aircraft. A radome is the cover over a radar antenna, most often on the nose of an aircraft, and it tends to be made of a material that lets the waves through; that is why it is also painted differently, and on the real machine its shade differs noticeably from the rest of the airframe. That very difference is what makes a model aircraft believable, and it is one of the first things that catch the eye on a finished build.
The shade is intended for modelers who build Japanese subjects and want the colors to match the real thing, but it will serve anywhere you need exactly this tone of gray. The paint comes from the Mr.Color line and behaves like the other paints of that line, so it can be combined with the shades you already have without trouble.
Shake the bottle thoroughly before use, as the pigment settles when it stands. The thinner intended for this line and the thinning ratio are stated by the manufacturer on the packaging; another thinner will curdle the paint. Apply several thin coats instead of one heavy one, as they cover more evenly and do not flood the raised detail. Under light shades a base coat is worth having, otherwise the color of the plastic shows through. Put masking tape on only over a properly dried coat and pull it off slowly, at a shallow angle.
A kit, thinner and tools are not included, unless stated otherwise.
