About product

Vallejo Matt Varnish

The Vallejo matte acrylic varnish is a clear protective coat, not a paint. Once dry, the quick-drying acrylic resin forms a durable matte film that protects the finish from dust, abrasion and moisture and evens out the sheen of a finished model or figure. It comes in a practical dropper bottle.

Use

  • A final matte protective coat on figures, models and dioramas.
  • It is applied with a brush or with an airbrush; stir before use, with minimal thinning with water.
  • Suitable as a matte base under pigments and washes.
  • Apply it in thin coats for an even matte surface.

Who it is for

For figure painters and modelers who want dependable matte protection for finished work.

A water-thinnable product with a low odor. Work in a ventilated area and close the bottle after use.
