Responsibility details are not available.
A set of 3D-printed resin figures of Russian Air Force pilots in 1:72 scale from Temp Models, carried as set number 6. The figures are modeled from real photographs and stand in poses typical of the preparation for flight. It is not an aircraft model but the crew that belongs with it and that gives a scene its sense of scale and its action.
The pilot of a current combat aircraft walks out to the machine in gear weighing several kilograms: a flight suit, a g-suit, a parachute harness and a helmet with an oxygen mask. That is exactly why photographs taken by an aircraft are so characteristic: the figure moves a little stiffly and carries the helmet in his hand until he sits down in the cockpit. The sets of figures differ from one another precisely in the choice of poses and in the combination of gear.
The parts are held only by the thin supports from the print. Cut them off with a sharp scalpel as close to the part as possible, sand the marks with fine abrasive paper and protect your airway while sanding. It is glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). On a smooth print the paint holds longer if you lay a thin coat of primer under it. In a small scale, build the paint up in layers from the base tone to the light edges.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the aircraft model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
