Space Hamburger

What the kit is about

The item carries the name Space Hamburger, that is a hamburger in a space conception. This is not a scale model of a vehicle but a playful kit whose result is a decorative object. The finished piece will serve as a small thing for a shelf, for a desk or as a gift for somebody who likes unconventional motifs and likes to put something together with their own hands.

Assembly without glue

The set is one of the kits that are assembled without gluing. The parts therefore hold together by themselves and no glue, or its fumes in the room, is needed to finish it. Waiting for joints to dry is avoided as well, so the build can be broken off at any time and taken up again. A mistake can moreover be put right by taking it apart, not by cutting it off.

Building tips

• Work on a light surface with raised edges, where small parts are easy to find and do not roll away.
• Sort the parts by size into bowls before starting; the build then goes more briskly.
• Keep to the order of the steps in the enclosed instructions from the manufacturer, as it tends to be crucial with small assemblies.
• Press the joints home with a blunt tool, not with a fingernail, so that no marks are left on the parts.
• Stand the finished piece out of direct sun, as colored surfaces fade under it.

Who it is for

The kit suits anyone looking for short and undemanding work with their hands, without glue and paints, and it is suitable as a gift as well. The package contains only the parts of the kit and the instructions. A display case, a base, glue and paints are not part of it, unless stated otherwise.
