A detail add-on set of landing flaps for the Antonov An-12 in 1:144 scale from LACI. It is not an aircraft model but a set of parts with which you replace the simplified flaps from the An-12 plastic kit by A-Model. With this set the four-engine transport aircraft can be displayed with the landing flaps lowered and their internal structure rendered better, which is particularly effective on a model in a landing or parked pose.
Cut the original molded flaps off the kit and adjust the trailing edge of the wing. In the small 1:144 scale work with the fine parts especially carefully; bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Apply a primer before painting and spray thin coats with an airbrush, sanding the joints down gently where needed.
The set is only an accessory for the base plastic kit, which it does not contain. Glue and paints are not included in the package.
