The 1:144 Fokker F-27 landing flaps accessory from LACI. Resin parts put the model of the Dutch turboprop airliner into the landing configuration.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of cast parts that swaps the closed trailing edge on the model for surfaces with the landing flaps down. The model thereby gains the silhouette of a machine shortly before touchdown. The kit of the aircraft is not included in the package and is bought separately.
The Fokker F27 Friendship first flew in 1955 and became the most widespread turboprop airliner of European manufacture. A high-set wing, a pressurized cabin and a pair of Rolls-Royce Dart engines made it a reliable workhorse on regional routes. It flew short routes all over the world, and in military form it served for transport, maritime patrol and paratroop drops. It was also built under license in North America under a designation of its own, so it appeared under various names on both sides of the Atlantic long after production ended.
First rid the castings of the greasy film from the mold in warm water, or the paint will run off. Cut the casting blocks away and level the cut so that the surface lines up with the wing. We recommend dry fitting both halves so that the flaps come out symmetrical. The joint is held by super glue; use a primer as the base and then paint according to the carrier you choose.
