Hydra Turquoise is the base metallic tone from the True Metallic Metal (TMM) range by Vallejo. This water-thinnable acrylic with a fine metal pigment gives a surface the look of a turquoise metal alloy. The TMM range is systematic: each family has a base tone BASE (full coverage), a highlight LiGHT, a satin non-metallic shadow SHADE and an airbrush variant. BASE forms the carrying layer of the effect. The bottle holds 18 ml.

Use

• Shake the bottle thoroughly before use so that the metal pigment is mixed in.
• The best effect comes on a smooth, dark surface, ideally over a black or dark primer.
• Applied with a brush and with an airbrush, thinned with water or with Vallejo acrylic thinner.
• Apply metallic paints toward the end, as they are harder to mask and to overspray.
• Deepen the effect with the LiGHT highlight and the satin SHADE shadow from the same family.
