Meng Tweezers Precision Pointed are precision modeling tweezers with pointed tips in polished stainless steel. Reinforced arms keep the grip steady even during long work on small parts.
Responsibility details are not available.
A hand tool for picking up and seating the smallest parts of a model. The jaws taper to a fine point, so they reach where fingers and pliers cannot - to handrails, aerials, small grab handles or to photo-etched pieces a few millimeters across. The body is stainless steel, the surface polished to a mirror finish that does not pick up paint or filler residue. Reinforced arms limit flex and the angled front helps hold a part firmly even when you work on it at an angle.
Anyone who builds in smaller scales or regularly reaches for accessory sets will appreciate them. Pointed jaws work more accurately than straight ones, but they hold a part over a very small area - so with slippery and springy pieces release the grip slowly, or the component will spring away. For a flat grip on larger parts the straight-tip version from the same tool range suits better.
Keep the tips clean and free of grease, and do not use the tool as a lever or on hard wire; the fine jaws will bend and the accuracy is gone for good. Put it down so that the tips do not rest on anything, and never leave it lying in solvents.
