A shade from the Mr.Color range by Gunze, listed under the name White Peach. The name refers to the white peach, that is to a very light tone with a hint of warm pink. Check its exact appearance against the manufacturer's color chart; shade names of this kind describe the mood of a color rather than an exact number from a chart, and light tones always shift in a photograph as well.
The thinner intended for the Mr.Color range and the thinning ratio are given by the manufacturer on the packaging, and brushes and the airbrush are cleaned by the same instruction. Stir the bottle thoroughly before use; settled pigment otherwise changes the tone and the opacity. Apply in thin coats and let each flash off before the next one comes. Wash and degrease the surface of the model beforehand; the finish will not hold on greasy plastic. When spraying, make sure of good ventilation or extraction and protect your airways.
Light shades cover less well than dark ones and the base readily shows through them. It therefore pays to apply a light primer first and the color only on top of it, otherwise you will add coat after coat and drown the fine detail in paint. Always try the shade on a piece of scrap plastic; on a small area and under different lighting it looks different from the chart, and a further coat of varnish will shift it again. Close the bottle carefully after work and store it somewhere dry, away from frost and direct sunlight.
