A large-format brass die 140 x 77 mm with a precisely etched repeating relief, which the Polish maker Aber describes as a modern type with strips in a 1x1 arrangement. From its sister plate with the 5x5 arrangement it differs precisely in the division of the pattern, so this is not the same item twice. The plate is a tool: the modeler lays thin material on it and transfers the texture into it by pressing it through, then uses that as the surface of a part of his own.
On large models of modern vehicles, where non-skid surfaces are clearly visible - walking platforms, fenders, covers, steps. Thanks to the size of 140 x 77 mm a larger part comes out of one impression, so the laborious matching up of the pattern falls away. The plate will also serve in dioramas and in scratchbuilding in general.
For modelers of large scales and for advanced builders who make their parts themselves. The tool is durable, usable over and over and is not used up.
The etched edges of the brass can be sharp. Keep out of the reach of small children. Foil, glue and paints are not included in the package.
