Responsibility details are not available.
An etched brass embossing plate from the Polish maker Aber, pattern number 12. In the range of embossing plates it closes the group with a working area of 88 x 57 mm without the frame, which is followed by longer plates of another format. The plate works as a form: you lay thin material on it, burnish it and you get sheet with a relief.
It pays to work in series. Once you have the material and the mat ready, impress several pieces straight away and store them in a flat box interleaved with paper. You will save time and reach for a finished piece while building. Store the material flat so that it does not bow. Check that the part sits on the model before gluing; bending it afterwards already disturbs the texture. Lay the paint on in thin coats, as a heavy coat floods a fine relief.
For modelers who build systematically and want a stock of textured sheet of their own, and for workshops where a general-purpose tool across fields comes in handy. The plate is a good complement to ready-made photo-etched sets, because it covers exactly those spots that makers of accessories usually do not think of.
This is a modeling tool, not a kit. Material for transferring the pattern is not included in the package.
